Skip ropes, not meals. Introducing Jiwa’s Steel Cut Oats to sort out all mealtime worries. This traditional variety looks almost like rice cut into pieces. While it takes longer to cook, it retains much of its shape even after cooking and has a toothsome, chewy texture. In addition to porridge, it can also be used as a rice alternative in numerous preparations, like vegetable pulao, risotto and much more. So there, breakfast and dinner both sorted with this one-food army!
Great to make sweet or savoury overnight porridge. Dunk them in a jar with sweet delights like crushed cookies, toasted dried fruits or even peanut butter!

Oats reduce risk of heart disease, not heartbreaks. But they can surely provide comfort there too!
Appearance: Dunmore cream with tiny tube-like cuts
Aroma: Steel cut oats retain a lot of duskiness from the whole oats and once you start to cook them, a deep toasty aroma sets in!
Taste notes: Because our oats are a 100% Australian origin, this variety has a distinguished chewiness in each bite, and is quite a mouth-full.
I started with Jiwa steel cut oats and have also tried other brands offering steel cut oats. The offering by this brand is the best. These oats take time to cook, but are definitely chewey as steel cut oats should be and a small bowl is enough to make you feel full for quiet some time.
I love this product very much..
